HKIS expects a high standard of conduct from all players, parents, and spectators at athletic contests. Inappropriate spectator behavior reflects poorly on HKIS and we expect all involved to be in control at all times and be good sports.
Our athletes/coaches/parents will:
- Respect the integrity and judgement of game officials
- Encourage applause and cheering, but refrain from critical or derogatory comments made to anyone involved in the event.
- Believe that the game itself should be left to the players, coaches, and officials, and place great importance on the principles of sportsmanship and the ideal of pursuing victory with honor.
